Where''s My 9 Iron? - A guide to the best courses in MA
Mount Hood Golf Course
 Semi- Private
18 Holes
  Par 72

Mount Hood Golf Course is one of the nicest public courses in Boston.  It is an 18 hole, public course, with full snack bar and restaurant. Their pro shop is incredible, with tons of club selections and even give out free golf tees.
The view from the first of 18 holes on this public course. Blind greens are difficult to start a round with.
This public course can be considered semi private, with a lot of members holding a yearly pass.  I have golfed here a number of times. Although the greens fees are expensive, the course is worth it!

the last of 18 holes, leaves you a 9 iron over the water to land on the green to make your birdie. The front 9 allows you to use all of your clubs, with holes ranging from 550 yards to 165 yards.  The front is a challenge, you can see all greens from the tee box.  The back 9 is completely different.  Elevated tees, dog legs, and blind greens really challenge your game.  The back 9 shows awesome views of the Boston skyline.

Mt.Hood is a phenomenal course just outside of Boston.  If you are in the area or love a challenge, I recommend golfing at Mt. Hood.
