Minutes outsid of Boston, this public course is awesome to play 18 or 9 holesNewton Commonwealth posses a lot of challenges for many golfers.  Some holes have slanted fairways, so no matter what club you use, the ball will take off into the rough.  Also, all 18 holes play pretty difficult.  Some holes are easy, but then they are followed by a huge par 5 where you must golf smart to make par.  This course helps all golfers learn their craft by posing challenging holes.
Most importantly, this course has a number of hazards, blind greens, and dog legs that ensure golfers use all of the clubs in their bag.  This semi-private course is located right off the Mass Pike, so every golfer can easily access the course.
